Dear Forum members,
I would be grateful if anyone can answer my questions here. I have just started using RenYing/Cunkou pulse diagnosis in my clinic. I have a patient diagnosed with MS. Initial symptoms began over five years ago along the GB channel of the right thigh with tingling and pain. Symptoms now are weakness of the right leg with extreme difficulty walking. Cold right lower leg and foot. Lack of appetite. Very low energy. No Pain anywhere on body. R/C pulse: R > C right side, R = C left side. Cunkou on the right is extremely weak. I diagnosed a Shaoyang foot excess and Jueyin foot deficiency and reduced GB34, 43 and tonified Liv3 using the inhaling/exhaling technique. My first question is: Was this the correct tonification/sedation method to use? My second question is: I felt that cunkou on the right increased in strength after needling but unsure about renying. So in a scenario like this will R typically decrease and C increase in order to equalise Thanks Paschal |
